-71 A lot of people criticize Obama, calling him a dark-skinned socialist who gives away free healthcare. I think they might be confusing Obama with Jesus, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, Obama is WAYYYY to far right winged, he is corporately influenced and therefore corrupted.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Obama is left wing...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Either way, it sounds like his wing strength is unbalanced, causing his flying to spiral downward.

I don't think him being dark-skinned has anything to do with him being a socialist. He could be purple with pink polka dots and I still wouldn't like his agenda. And actually I don't think he wants to convert our country to socialism, I think he wants us to be a monarchy so he can be king.

An adjective followed by a noun does not mean that because he is adjective he is a noun. For example, "I am a white male" does not mean "because I am white, I am a male."

My point was directed at the original post. Why was "dark-skinned" included? How I read it, it implied that all who have a problem with Obama not only criticize his socialism tendencies but also that he's "dark-skinned."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It was probably included to make the comparison between him and Jesus more analogous.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It wouldn't be free since we'd all be paying one way or another.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, we just pay for other people's as well as our own. You know, like in socialism.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not gonna lie... I YYA'd this one because it's funny...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I personally don't like Obama. He made too many promises he knew he couldn't fulfill and then goes off and fucks with shit he shouldn't be messing with

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A politician made promises that he couldn't fulfill? Say, that's never been done before.

Tr00fax are tr00

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow... I expected the controversy in this post would be it's Jesus Vs. Realism issue. Eh, Guess not.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ok, I'm not American, but I don't see the problem you're having with free healthcare... Pretty much every other first world country has it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And their citizens are complaining about it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's not the feeling i get living in a country with universal healthcare. I think it's fantastic really, the only problem is wait time for non life threating conditions... but most of the time it's not all that bad anyway, and if you're getting it for free then that's to be expected. Also the option for private insurance or going to a private hospital and paying the bill is always there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If it were only really "free."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's as free as all of the other services the government provides I guess. We pay taxes and in return the government looks after us.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i feel reeeeeeeeeeeeeally stupid asking this, but Jesus has dark skin?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If he was born in the Middle East like it says in the Bible, then yes, he would have dark skin. It's a common misconception since he's often depicted by western cultures as being light-skinned.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh ok that makes sense, silly white people (such as myself lol)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm not sure what your intent is. Is the a compliment to Obama, are you dissing Jesus, or what?
