Not true. Maybe she writes those lyrics because people like to hear it. If I write a song about gay rights, does that make me gay?

That is not the same thing at all, but it proves my point. If you write a song about gay rights that means you believe in gay rights. Like 85% of Ke$ha's songs are about stupid shit, which makes it clear that she does those things on a regular basis.

No it does not. Eminem (your idol) makes songs about rape. Does that mean he rapes people? Like I said, you should read up on this stuff before you make an argument. In interviews, she said she doesn't do that stuff. And she also declined to be in flo-rida's video for right round (when she was an unknown) because she "didn't want to be a sex-pot". That sounds like she has morals and good values to me, not trashy.

Hip hop and pop are two completely different genres of music. The former is layered with different meanings and concepts and many songs are written from different perspectives. The Eminem songs you're talking about are the ones written from the perspective of Slim Shady. Listen to the song Stan, it's the story of an insane fan. Guilty Conscience narrates events in the lives of three different characters. Besides, for every fucked-up-genius song Eminem has written he has two deep ones.I don't care what she said in interviews because that can't be the truth- http://www.songfacts.com/artist:ke$ha.php ^ That's a list of all of Ke$ha's songs. Not one of them doesn't contain any references to sex. And not one of them has any true meaning. Um, since when did Eminem have fucked up songs?? All his songs are either humorous or serious, and if you don't like the humorous ones, then don't call them 'fucked up' and don't call yourself 'ImTheRealSlimShady'.And to your dismay, there are people in the world who listen and like Ke$ha AND Eminem songs.

I do like them! You don't understand- I meant fucked up as in songs like "3 AM" and "Insane". I know that they're jokes and I am always amazed at what a genius he is no matter what kind of song he's writing.

Eminem often writes pure satire. Example: The Kids is a song he wrote saying "drugs are bad" when really he believes that it's personal choice and was clearly on them at the time. Ke$ha's lyrics are not satire.

Actually, she was a huge nerd in high school that had near perfect SAT scores, little to no friends and she was enrolled in an International Baccalaureate program and was going to go to Columbia University and study psychology. But she dropped out because she apparently "wanted to move back to L.A. and pursue her music.” It's true, look it up. All in all, I don't listen to her music, it's too much 'sex party and whores' for me.

It's not so much whether she actually practices what she preaches in her songs in her personal life, it's the fact that she's singing about all these things and promoting them to her listeners. There are kids who listen to her music and who will learn from what she sings. Maybe if she was really a "good person" or whatever, she wouldn't encourage these values.

If it's true about her being in IB, she probably could have gone almost anywhere for college and gotten a respectable job that makes just as much, but instead she chooses to sing inane songs about getting completely wasted and doing stupid crap. Just because of that I can't believe she's at all classy.
