Telling ignorant people to think is as useless as telling the sun to turn off, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Ignorance means they are unaware of something. If you tell them to think, they might find out what they didn't know and will no longer be ignorant.
by Anonymous12 years ago
They could be too ignorant to consider that suggestion.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Ignorant=/=stupid.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't believe I said being ignorant means you're stupid.
by Anonymous12 years ago
No, but the way you're using the word ignorant implies that's what you thought.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Someone who is ignorant may not accept other people's opinions because they feel their opinions are already correct. I never implied anything with stupidity.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Sorry, I assumed. That's what I should have said.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Yeah, but you're using it synonymously with stupid. Saying they could be too (un-knowledgeable on subject) to consider that suggestion doesn't even make sense.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Some people are ignorant in a way that they think they already know what they need to know, so they choose not to accept other people's suggestions. I have met people like this. I did not necessarily use or imply ''stupid'' at all, and can't see why you think I did.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Well then, you are very closed minded, because it's very simple to see why I thought that.
by Anonymous12 years ago
K, not really.
by Anonymous12 years ago
How would you know? If you don't understand the postition, how do you know if you're closed minded or not for not seeing it?
