he did something, he was black. all jokes aside, he was given it based on potential, that's like a teacher giving a student an a+ before an exam just because he had potential to get an a+.

Well it's politics.. Al-gore got an award for making a power point presentation on global warming. Amongst other nominees there was a woman that saved 2000 jewish children is Poland by working as a plumber and getting them out through the sewers. She then did not leave these children, she found their families and reunited them. But a powerpoint presentation is so much better.. she should have a made a powerpoint presentation! amifright?

I agree with the statement because it is true. However, the Nobel Committee specifically stated/ Obama acknowledged that the prize was not based his past actions, but rather on the his potential to enact peace and the future peace actions he will undertake.

I am not going to vote on this one. I am a big Obama fan, but he shouldn't have gotten the Nobel peace prize. I think it was given because of potential, which is a bit stupid. But in a way, it was almost like the world's biggest dare, right?
