+191 How the fuck is Gyarados a flying type, amirite?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

apparently it's a typo they refuse to fix

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Meh if that's true I'm glad they've never fixed it, it would just kill the nostalgia.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Because no ones brave enough to go tell him otherwise.

college, really?

He was sposed to be a dragon/water type but if they had implemented that in red and blue he would have no weakness and the developers thought that would make him overpowered so they made him flying

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Doesn't Sableye have no weaknesses? And neither does Spiritomb?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Yeah, but Sableye has rather low stats, and Spiritomb is usually banned in organized competitions, and is also harder to obtain than most legendary Pokemon.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

It would have a weakness to Dragon if it was Water/Dragon, but otherwise that explanation sounds plausible.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

in red and blue the only dragon move was dragon rage which has a set damage of 40hp so essentially in red and blue there were no dragon type moves.

I was thinking the same thing haha
