Also about learn and countries+149War is getting old, countries need to learn from their mistakes. Can the soldiers all just can home with their families where their safe and happy? let all the daddys and mommies come home to their kids and spouses and relatives. let the other countries fight their own war, amirite?
Also about learn+41Animals (not including humans) only have to learn basic survival skills, while humans are required to go to school where they learn mostly only useless information which will not serve any purpose to them whatsoever ever. amirite?
Also about learn and language+210When you've been trying to learn another language, and you meet someone from that country who speaks your language fluently, it's always an inner battle whether or not to try out your language skills in case you embarrass yourself, amirite?

Also about learn and language+387It's amazing how you learn you mother language without even studying it. It'd be cool if we had a 'test baby' grow up with 5 different 'moms' each fluent in a different language. They would each spend the exact same amount of time with the child. By the time the kid's ten, it would be cool to see what languages or how much of the different languages the kid is fluent in, amirite?
Also about learn and language+288Language teachers need to learn to stop speaking in nothing but that language to their students all class long. If you speak only in a language no one in the class understands, it's more likely to confuse and annoy the CRAP out of them than help them learn better. amirite?
Also about learn and language+64As a former language teacher, I submit that in order to insure a better foreign and second language learning. it is more fruitfull and rewarding to have an intrinsic motivation (love of foreign language, its sounds, its musicality, its rythm or its syntax, i,e, learning the language for its affective and intellectual value) than to have an instrumental motivation (learn a language to get a degree , a promotion or for multiple purposes external to the language itself, as a means for an extenal goal). Do you think that affectivity does play a major role in foreign or second language learning? amirite?
