I once looked up Bogan on wikipedia ("bogan" is basically Australian white trash): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bogan And it said "The term has been used in reference to people living in the Logan region in Queensland. The place name rhymes with bogan, and people of this region have been perceived as being typical of the stereotype." I live in Logan.
