+326 Homosexuals are not a flaw or abnormality in a perfect system. Rather, they are proof that it is the system itself that is flawed, amirite?

if the system was perfect but had a flaw in it, it's no longer a perfect system, it becomes a flawed one, so that logic doesn't make sense. and homosexuality is not a flaw, nor does it make the system flawed. people are what they are, straight or gay. they may have flaws, but homosexuality is not one of them.

Would it had made more sense if it was written "Homosexuals are not a flaw or abnormality in an otherwise perfect ..."?

They're not a flaw in the first place...

This reads like the essays I write after midnight when I'm trying to make a point, without knowing what point I'm trying to make. Oh, sure, the words flow--but so does diarrhea and, ultimately, they're BOTH shit. :/

LOL. I think although it might be a little clumsy, the point was pretty clear - that it is the system of hetero-normative thinking that is wrong, not same-sex attracted.

The people aren't the flaw; the homosexuality is.
