They should make Tupperware with Dry-Erase lids. That way, you can write whatever's in there on the lid and then erase it when you finally toss out the leftovers, amirite?

Thank you :] I thought of this while looking in the refrigerator, wondering what was in all the tupperware but not caring enough to look

I'm pretty sure you could use a dry erase marker on the tupperware lids now. They are plastic...

Check out Pan Pen - it's used by restaurants to mark on food containers. It's the only food safe marker specifically designed to write on food containers like tupperware. Wipes off easy - no toxins

That's actually a pretty genius idea!

What's so hard about simply looking inside the container?

What if the food's on a shelf that's lower than eye level? I'm not saying that everyone is too lazy to bend down, but it would make finding what you want a lot quicker and easier.

I think they might be called labels.

Ewwww. Dry erase residue all over my food!

I'm positive that the op didn't mean that you write on the food.
