+255 What kind of idiot thinks ignorant is the same thing as ignoring someone? Just because they're spelled similar doesn't mean they ARE similar. amirite?

Technically one becomes "ignorant" by ignoring something, but its not 1 person its information and knowledge in general. If you ignore learning then you are ignorant. Spelled the same because they are from the same word so they are similar. But that said anyone who i told i contracted a disease and they asked "why would you need a contract to get a disease?" i would assume they were an idiot. So i guess i agree, and disagree.
