+137 Its strange that there's not a black line straight through whatever you're looking at , I mean , your eyes aren't connected , but you can still see everything in front of you . Even though there's a nose right between your eyes . amirite?

This site is home to some very intelligent people, but I'm also often shocked by it's users. Your eyes aren't fixed directly ahead, they are angled ever-so-slightly toward one another. They focus at one point in the center of our vision, giving us two angles of the same thing. The brain puts the images together and we get a 3D image, and that's how we perceive depth. Ever notice how things that aren't in your center of focus are doubled?
