I'll have a cheeseburger with no tomato or mayo. Yes, I would like fries with that.

It has it's ups and downs. I doubt there would be so many dropouts if it wasn't forced.

You have a choice once you are sixteen I'm pretty sure, but I don't suggest dropping out.

You should be grateful that you get education.
Some people dont't get a childhood, let alone education.

if school wasnt forced on every kid would quit when they would be in 2nd grade not realizing that it is good for them
by Anonymous14 years ago
Jeez, you sound like just another whiny teenager that doesn't think they need to school. Basically no kid under 18 (in general) knows exactly what they want in life, and definitely don't know what's best for them. You'll be thankful for your 'forced' education someday.

Go drop out of school and live in the streets then, if that's what you want. Nobody's stopping you once you're like 16, right? :P

I'd agree with this post but looking at how dumb some people are who ARE forced to go to school.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Maybe if you went to school you would know not to end your sentences with a preposition.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Maybe if you spent more time looking at the real world instead of a grammar text book you'd realize that nobody really cares about ending sentences with prepositions ABOVE.

Shut up and make me a sandwich.

We have enough idiots as it is.

The modern public school system today is like a prison to kids and a drop off for parents. I'm not saying that school should be taken out, but changed in a major way. The ethics and teaching styles are just plain horrible. When you're not sleeping you're figuring out ways to fake doing your homework. Knowledge is not a punishment, let's stop treating it that way.

Schools have manged to turn learning, which is the most inspiring and exciting thing man can ever do, into a form of torture.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Exactly! Learning IS fun and exciting, it's just the way we learn that is mis-directed.

I know. I always hate books while reading them in English class. Years later, I read the same book and love it. When some stupid teacher isn't over analyzing everything to death, you can actually appreciate the beauty of the writing.

No one will gain any wisdom or knowledge when the act of learning is reduced to tedious and un-fulfilling drudgery.
