My girlfriend got fat and didn't have her period. He said she was Prego, but I could have sworn she looked nothing like a spaghetti sauce

I once had pneumonia , but the doctor prescribed an asthma inhaler because he didn't know what I had. Scary...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

were you having trouble breathing or were you very sick as well

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Trouble breathing... then again, my poor doctor is very old. Doesn't give him an excuse to give me the wrong meds...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

omg seriously cuz that's exactly what i have and they took a chest xray today to see if i have some type of pneumonia because when i try to take a deep breath it doesn't work but i have no pain and i'm not sick so i really have no idea it's really scary is that what happened to you

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yup! Same thing as me; I didn't feel sick or anything, but had a terrible time trying to breath. He gave me a wrong inhaler which didn't help my breathing at all... I had a "cough attack" at school where I could barely breath and couldn't stop coughing, so I was sent to the nurse and then the hospital for x-rays... Turns out I had pneumonia and it wasn't getting better because I didn't have the right medications. Sucks, right?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

no it doesn't suck at least you know what you had and were able to fix it nobody knows what i have and it's not getting better and there's nothing i can do

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They don't know what you have? Have you been to the hospital?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they said if it doesnt get better after a few weeks i have to do a pulmonary functions test at the hospital you don't know how badly i wish it was pneumonia

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh my gosh, I really hope you get better soon!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow, the same exact thing happened to me. Lots of tests (even though me and my mom figured it was pneumonia) than left with an inhaler.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i have a pulmonary functions test tomorrow yay!! is that what you had to do? i'm scared that they still won't know what's wrong.... and what they're gonna do....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, I didn't. But I hope everything goes well! And I hope it all gets better! :)

Over the same winter break in freaking 6th grade, I got a kidney stone and some weird skin discoloration. So a couple days after having sat in a hospital for hours and having the doctor tell me he had never seen a kidney stone in anyone under 20, I went to my doctor where they sat around, pointing and staring at my skin discoloration and not being able to figure out what it was. >.<

When I was two my mother took me to the zoo and my hands swelled up really badly. My doctor told her that I had somehow gotten hoof-and-mouth disease from one of the animals, checked inside my mouth to prove it, and was shocked when there were no sores. So he basically told my mother that he had no idea what was wrong with me and that she should bring me back if I presented any more symptoms. She asked if I could be having an allergic reaction, but he said that was ridiculous. She didn't think so and took me to an allergist, who diagnosed me with a peanut allergy and said that my hands swelled up because the "feed the animals" pellets had ground peanuts in them. My original doctor then told my mother that the allergist was just trying to scam money out of her and there was no way I'm allergic to peanuts. Guess what? I'm allergic to peanuts.

woooow that's really pathetic it's weird how i used to look up to doctors thinking they could cure anything i'm allergic to peanuts too hehe

When I was a young kid I had severe pains in my lower abdomen and felt really sick. My mom brought me to the hospital and they sent me home, giving me a laxative and told me I had the flu. The next day it got worse, so my mom brought me in again and demanded an ultrasound of my stomach. Turns out I had appendicitis, I had to get rushed in for emergency surgery. My appendix actually bursted while they were removing it. The laxative that the first doctor gave me could've easily have killed me in the state I was in. Scary! There's a reason I don't like going to the doctors!

i've been sick for months. we still don't know why. and i've been to 4 doctors. ugh.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

what are your symptoms do you just feel really crappy? haven't they referred you to any specialists?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah! but they still can't figure it out. plus, i've also had pnemonia and swine flu. so far: i've had 2 blood tests; multiple chest x-rays; a breathing test; a heart rate test; and, like i said before, been to many doctors. i came back negative for asthma, irregular heart beat, and diabetes so they have no idea. =(
