Wow. I'm really sorry OP. That's a scary thing to go through. When I was in grade 9, a guy in my high school got a sudden cardiac arrest and died on the soccer field. That was scary too.

This happened to a friend of mine, turns out she just ran away. Now shes run away about 15 times and no one takes it seriously anymore and one day something bad is going to happen but everyone will just think she just ran away again. Another girl from my school just showed up from being missing, and the news is reporting that she was forced to sell magazines for bikers.

This happened in my school as well, but I guess it wasn't a proper "kid goes missing" story. I think she was missing for a few days and wasn't seen anywhere near her house at the time, but it turned out she was staying at a relatives house or something. I mention this because I remember how the kids handled it.. "Maybe she finally decided to stay with her family at the zoo.".. Eeyup.
