i dont think thats the point of evolution. natural selection= get better

Well I don't know about you, but I've never seen my Venusaur turn back into an Ivysaur.

I think he/she means that we (as humans) are evolved to a high enough level that we are capeable of (and are) fucking up our species and our world, making us no better than the mud-squatting minor life-forms we evolved from, if not worse because we KNOW what we're doing.
