The Christian Paradox: Giving up religion for Lent, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I gave up homework for lent once. Had a note and everything
by Anonymous13 years ago
And they let you go through with it?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I did this, haha.

Lent's actually a Catholic holiday... but, true story. XD

Someone forgot their Wheaties this morning.
Catholic is a type/base of Christianity, but most of the time when people say Christian, they mean the people that just call themselves Christians(why is there no name for this?).

(Anonymous): I'm sorry, but most people at my school practice this. I just assumed it was a non-denominational thing.

But you could have it on Sundays....So really most people act like there's lent every week. lol.

deep (even though I'm pretty sure the Sunday thing is just for younger kids that want to give up something for lent but wouldn't be able to go the whole lent without it)

I thought it was on Sundays....My mom went to a Catholic church for the first 20 some years of her life and that's what she told me. *shrug*

Oh, maybe I'm wrong, but I've haven't used Sunday as a day off from lent in years. Oh well.
