+650 Charlie Sheen, is all over the news this week because he's a celebrity drug addict. Justin Bieber was all over the news for 2 days this week because he cut his hair. While Andrew Wilfahrt 31, Brian Tabada 21, Rudolph Hizon 22, Chauncy Mays 25, Christopher Stark 22, Kristopher Gould 25, David Fahey 23 are all soldiers who gave their lives this week with no media mention. Thats really wrong, amir... amirite?

youre watching the wrong channel. if you want to know about world affairs go to a channel where thats the main focus.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Like....the news stations? Oh no no no. I'm wrong. Cause of course they air that stuff on Discovery Channel. No? What about PBS? Oh...Well maybe ESPN--Nope. News is where those things are SUPPOSED to air--and NEVER do.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

...........................................you think espn is suppost to show world affairs?? umm apparently they DO or else you wouldnt know about it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

lol i guess youre NOT WATCHING THE RIGHT STATIONS THEN. espn? LMAO thats for sports! i cant decide if youre a troll or what. you cant be butthurt the station meant for playing sports or the station that shows local news and the weather isnt showing world affairs. believe it or not, ststaions like that DO exist. lol and discovery channel? you have got to be kidding me. pbs does talk about world affairs lol

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Um. Apparently you don't understand sarcasm. My point was what other station should I be watching for the NEWS of soldiers' deaths than the NEWS stations?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(facepalm) cnn maybe? figure it out

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha, "Wilfahrt".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're a terrible person.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Probably.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If a soldier dies, they put it on the local news. They don't put it all over the media because it's sad and people don't like sad things. We watch things about the lives of celebrities because it distracts us from the sad things.

what im not understanding is how people who are obviously informed on whats happening via tv are saying the tv isnt telling us anything... "While Andrew Wilfahrt 31, Brian Tabada 21, Rudolph Hizon 22, Chauncy Mays 25, Christopher Stark 22, Kristopher Gould 25, David Fahey 23 are all soldiers who gave their lives this week with no media mention. Thats really wrong" obviously they did get some media attention or how do you know about it?!?!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They must not have gotten *enough* media attention. But that's fine. People don't go into the military to get famous after they die.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Sadly, it's because soldiers dying is not out of the ordinary. If a soldier's death was an uncommon event, it would be covered.

Writing "amir... amirite?" does not make you cool, however much you think so, so fuck you and NW

by Anonymous 13 years ago

... No... just no... The post ran out of characters before the rest of amirite could be posted, so the post read it as amir. If a post does not end in amirite, the site adds it on.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

LOL Wilfahrt!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Isn't this a Facebook post?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

congrats on copying and pasting a facebook group!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I knew Chauncy....=(

I think you guys are missing the point of the post... This is basically saying: Why are there things like Justin Beibers haircut, or Charlie Sheens drug addiction getting covered and being daily topics, instead of more important matters. Sure it's worded in a horribly wrong way, or I'm just reading too much into it. But seriously, who really gives a shit that JB cut his hair.... :\
