I've said this before, but I love make up. It's almost an art form. I love playing with different colours and products to create something beautiful. Like Cher said in Burlesque, your face is like a canvass. I'm the kind of girl who will go out one day with crazy make up on, go out another day with nothing on at all (you really do need to give your skin a break sometimes), and go out with a very natural look another day. It's fun creating different looks. There's nothing wrong with make up. The problems arise when a girl can't feel comfortable without make up. We should all feel comfortable in our own skin, but it's still fun to play. We wear different outfits all the time and change our hair, and makeup is similar, but for your face!

I'm perfectly fine with make up, even though I don't personally care to use it. It's one of those things where if you do it nice, fine whatever, but if you slather it on and then flaunt yourself about like you don't look like you're covered in colorful mud, I'm going to think you're an idiot. The reason some people are so 'against' makeup is probably because most of the people around them don't know how to properly use it, so it gives the people who do a bad image by association. Instead of using it to enhance what they have they use it to give them what they have.

Usually,The girls who hate make up are the ones who do anything just to be 'against' the 'popular girls' because they feel like it automatically makes you fake and a whore. Which is obviously not the case for most girls.

Yeah I agree. The whole point of makeup is to enhance what you already have but when most people say they dont like makeup, they say that because they feel that girls shouldnt feel beautiful only when makeup is on their face. They should feel pretty all the time, makeup or no makeup :) But I know first hand that makeup can definetly help you feel a bit better about yourself. Just not too much makeup.

The thing about this is, I don't have to wear makeup. I can go a month without it and feel fine. But I wear it because I like to.
