On Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Willow (she's Jewish) still had to carry crosses around for self-defense.

Vampires don't avoid crosses because they're Christian, so why would they avoid Stars of David because they're Jewish?

Actually ... I've read a book with a Jewish vampire in it. And yes, he did avoid Stars of David.

Yeah, it's pretty decent. Not as wonderful as the Mortal Instruments, but still better than a lot of stuff out there.
