Life is too short to spend a quarter of it in school, amirite?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Ok so just live life without any knowledge, and basically be a sponge instead of an intelligent, complex human being? Hm. I think I'll pass.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I'm not saying school isn't important but what's the point of spending so much time in boring school where half the time you don't pay attention and then by the time you get out, you only have a portion of your life to use that knowledge.
by Anonymous14 years ago
yes, you not knowing the equation to find the surface area of a hexagonal prism will make you a less intelligent less complex human being.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Clearly there are more things to learn in school besides the surface area of a hexagonal prism.
by Anonymous14 years ago
no shit do you want me to make a list of them all?
by Anonymous14 years ago
First of all, don't talk to me like that. Second of all, your argument is completely irrelevant and invalid. School is very important, and there really isn't a way around it. I understand your point- that some people question why we have to learn quadratic equations or weird, "useless" information, but the truth is we should be glad we are fortunate enough to obtain any education.

stfu dumb ho bitch nasty fucking slut.
lol ill talk to you however i want bitch
there isnt any way around it with the way our society is now except you know work and not making as much money which is perfectly ok with me i dont give a shit about money and as far as im concerned your point is completly invalid to me so lol

You realize you're defending your laziness and stupidity. Grow some balls and get off Anon. Are you afraid to look like an asshole? :(
by Anonymous14 years ago

by Anonymous14 years ago
You're a stupid anon.
by Anonymous14 years ago
You're clearly a 13-year-old girl who has never worked a crappy job that doesn't require an education.
by Anonymous14 years ago
im a restaurant owner that dropped out of high school
by Anonymous14 years ago
Of course you are.
by Anonymous14 years ago
of course you wouldnt belive me lol
by Anonymous14 years ago
this is why i dropped out. not that everyone should do that, i have a pretty good alternative plan.

It's not about learning "things we won't use later in life", it's about increasing our acceleration rate in regards to processing and learning new things. It's even more to it than that. And although you may not see math or any other subject everywhere, the memory of learning something can lead you to a new intellectual thought that could actually be beneficial.
by Anonymous14 years ago
i know what you mean, why can't we learn useful stuff like they teach in hogwarts??
by Anonymous14 years ago
Well, actually we're learning everyday - whether in school or "on the street". But school (as well as life) is whatever you make it for you. There are a lot of interesting stuff that you can learn and do, also it's a great place to develop your abilities, interests, etc.
Life is too short to be one lazy whining fuck.

Personally, I like school...
by Anonymous14 years ago
This is why I'd rather like to live in the past. Get married to a hunter-gatherer at 15, have six kids, and die of smallpox when Im 30. Life was so simple back then.
