I've always found it weird how teen pregnancy rates differ in different places. I go to school with 2000 other teenagers and I've never heard of any one of them getting pregnant ever, not even before I was there.

I don't think all of it has to do with abortion. I get the feeling that a good portion of the sexually active teens (which isn't all that many) at my school use more than one form of birth control. A couple of my friends are on the pill- for menstrual cramps and other such problems.. or so they say.

i dunno about other girls, or people in general, but i look at teen mom as like....the best method of birth control ever. (well not really ever but you get it.) i mean i look at how much that would suck and how hard life is. its like a live abstinence ad or something. i would never want that as a teenager and seeing those girls go through it only solidifies my fear of getting pregnant. it doesn't make me wanna have a kid....i don't think any part of that show is glamorous or enticing.

If I become one of the 50% of teenagers that have sex and the birth control fails, I am most definately trying to 'get knocked up' and end up on a mtv show, because the majority of teenage moms end up there anyway. Thank you SO MUCH for clearing this up for me. I'm really glad you know everything.

I hope they all die - not the children, just the parents. Then the children should be placed into foster care before they have their first memory's and all evidence of the show destroyed. The children should never be told about their parents as I think it's cruel to put that much embarrassment upon them. It's not their fault their parents are digusting, stupid, 'want-something-for-nothing' lumps of useless flesh. I'm pro-choice but in this case I'm pro-abortion. They should abort the parents. To all you pro-lifers - are you going to sign up to be foster parents to adopt all the unwanted kids that will be placed into orphanariums after you FORCE women who made a mistake, but don't want children, to have children? What authority do you have to assert that women, if pregnant, MUST have their baby? If you're gonna to start quoting sacred texts (Bible, Qu'ran etc) I suggest to read the whole thing and follow all the guideline set out in it including; rape, murder & genocide!
