I always wonder why it says "Microwave on high", but I have never used a microwave with that kind of setting so I don't know if the "Microwave on high" option is still on certain microwaves

Most microwaves let you change the power level. Putting it on half power good for defrosting stuff and making oatmeal. High is the default though, so it's easy to see how you could have missed it.

I never take it out to stir or whatever. That takes away the simplicity of it. I just add the times together and hope for the best. if i want to repeatedly thrust something in and out of a box then i'll have sex.
