+415 You can't take those people who say they found the love of their life on the Internet seriously, amirite?

My old Chem teacher (I switched out of the class to go into a higher level) met her husband through eHarmony. She told the whole class this. Why in GOD'S NAME would you tell your students you met your husband on eHarmony? Do you WANT to be mercilessly mocked?

It doesn't really matter how you meet as long as you've spent enough time together in person to actually get to know them and fall in love with them.

My mom and my stepdad met on the Internet through a mutual friend...

I did... I wasn't looking for it, and dreaded it even. We met up, and fell in love. 600m is nothing, love can conquer it :)

It depends... If they met online but then go on dates and stuff, like they met on eHarmony or Match then I think it's fine. It's when people meet each other through chatrooms or mmorpgs or something and proceed to have a strictly technology-based relationship where it gets weird.

Me and my boyfriend met online in a chatroom, and i believe he's the love of my life, no one has ever treated me the way he has :) And it really depends on the person, theres alot of assholes out there pretending to be lovely, and i've met quite alot of them :P
