Chocolate chip ice cream is really a disappointing flavor. It's really just vanilla, with a few miniscule chocolate bits thrown in here and there, which ends up ruining both the pure vanilla flavor and the effect of the chocolate, amirite?

I also hate when the chocolate chip bits are more like shaved metal than chocolate, and you end up just sucking off the vanilla around it so you can crack 'em into edible bits D:
