You're prolly right.
It is on the internet.
it's kinda like saying kinda instead of kind of or wanna instead of want to
I only say "prolly" intentionally, if I need the word to contribute to the tone I'm aiming for. Otherwise, I avoid abbreviating those sorts of words altogether.
Eh, I use "prob" if I have to abbreviate probably in a sentence. Seems more proper I guess.
If I have to abbreviate (say, to fit in a tweet or to keep a text in 1 part) I either use probly or probs. Seems okay.
I think that it's fine as long as people know when to use it
and that we differentiate between formal and informal situations
we don't wanna accidentally type prolly for a paper we're writing
wanna doesn't even get a a squiggly red line under it
Yeah, and if I can avoid writing it that way, I will. It's just convenient.
On the topic of wanna and kinda, I use those all the time, because I more often than not, say them instead of want to or kind of
I probs should keep that in mind.
Absolutist much?
Prolly sounds retarded.
