WHERE ARE THERE PARENTS? This ten-year-old girl has to spend what time she has taking care of her brother without any help from her parents. They're grandma barely does jack squat. I understand her being a bitch if she has to take care of that piece of shit Max and his retard self. My theory is that Ruby became pregnant with Max at a young age, and her conservative parents wanted her to abort the baby, but Ruby strongly opposes abortion, so they kicked Ruby out of the main house, and she lives in a refurbished crack house she bought from what wages she earned on the streets when not taking care of her "brother" Max.

I feel so bad for Max in the episodes where ruby and louise set up a beauty salon and force him to sit there while they dress him like a little girl. And the episode where Ruby and Louise pretend to be doctors and make max be their patient when all he wants to do is play with his markers. :(
