+288 Every romantic comedy is the same, Main focus on person1, person2 and person3, Person 1 thinks he/she wants person3, but falls in love with person2 in the progress of obtaining person3, then theres a slight problem or some drama between person1 and person2, but then thats solved and person3 is out of the story and it ends with a happy person1 and 2 as a couple. Seen one, seen em all. amirite?

Letters to Juliet, Princess Diaries, 13 going on 30.... But seen one, seen them all? No. The Back Up Plan is pretty original to me.

Don't forget person 4 and person 5, who are the best friends of person one who think person three is totally wrong for them. Either person 4 or person 5 is all up in your face and opinionated and the other is really reserved about it. Don't forget the ones where person one and person two think they hate each other, but then realize in the end they're actually in love with each other.

I'm here on amirite instead of watching a movie with my parents because my dad picked out the MOST predictable type of romcom - this one (with a dash of 'they think they hate each other'). And I could tell you exactly what happens without ever seeing the whole damn movie.

A bigger cliche is when there's two people that hate each other and they're forced together for some reason or another and they fall in love at the end.
