Most atheists are spoiled white teenagers, amirite?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Where's the logic in that??
by Anonymous14 years ago
God told him ;)
by Anonymous14 years ago
It's not logic, more of an observation.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Wonder who in the hell OP is observing. Of course atheists can be anyone, but if I were to make a generalization, I'd guess that the less fortunate would be more likely to be atheist, the ones who actually have more reasons not to believe in a god than to believe in one.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Not at all. The less fortunate are more likely to turn to god because of their misfortunes. Religion promises them a reward after death.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Dont tell me I'm wrong. My opinion has logic behind it as does yours. Why should the less fortunate trust in a god to give them a glorious afterlife when that said god has not graced them with a decent life on earth?,
by Anonymous14 years ago
A little touchy there, aren't we? This is my observation, from the lower class point of view. I'm not religious myself, but I know many more lower class people that are religious than middle or upper class people. It may not live up to that logic you want, but it is an observation nonetheless.
by Anonymous14 years ago
ha that wasn't touchy miss, you didn't say, in my opinion. You said no not at all. I acknowledged your opinion has logic.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Again I'm not saying "more likely" or talking about logic, I'm just saying that most of the atheists they know are like this, I YYA'd because the ones I know are too, but I'm not saying all of them are.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Understandable. I don't know.many atheists besides myself, so I guess I can't really have an observational view.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Most atheists on the Internet, that is.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Ahhhhh you're too ignorant
by Anonymous14 years ago
I'm white, teenaged, and atheist, but definitely not spoiled.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Yeah, same here.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Are you middle class or higher? Have you ever been in a situation that needed a miracle? You ARE spoiled, so at least live up to that fact.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Just because someone is middle class or higher doesn't mean they are spoiled. Spoiled is defined by the ruining of one's character by indulgence. Since you don't know every white teenager who happens to be middle or upper class, please stop saying we're all spoiled.
by Anonymous14 years ago
That's why I added another criterion in my comment. Please consider my entire argument before trying to respond to it.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Not being in a situation that needs a miracle doesn't make someone spoiled either. It makes them lucky. Frankly, most people DON'T need a "miracle" in their lives.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Ah, of course. The "if you're not starving and homeless, you have no right to complain" thing, somewhat. I have a home, a laptop, a TV and a couple of game systems. Spoiled is having more than that. A lot more.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Hmm. I may have a family income that puts me well into the middle-class category, and I haven't had problems that needed "miracles". However, I deal on a daily basis with an alcoholic father and a semi-depressed mother. My life appears perfect from the outside because of my grades, participation in sports, and percieved affluence. It annoys me to no end when people call me a "spoiled white girl" when they don't even stop to think about what I might be facing at home.
by Anonymous14 years ago
trololololo?
by Anonymous14 years ago
OR they're people who chose not to believe after a certain amount of serious reflexion?
by Anonymous14 years ago
I'm a mixed 12 year old girl, somewhat ghetto, and I am an atheist. Hello there!
by Anonymous14 years ago
TWELVE YEAR OLD!! KILL IT!!
by Anonymous14 years ago
Nice to meet you too!
by Anonymous14 years ago
WITH FIRE!!!
by Anonymous14 years ago
Where's the logic in this? "I'm perfectly happy and can get anything I want...THERE IS NO GOD!!!"
by Anonymous14 years ago
Only people who get everything handed to them think God doesn't sexist.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Think God doesn't sexist? What? You think God is sexist?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Lemme guess, You are a white spoiled christian
by Anonymous14 years ago
No I'm an atheist. I'm just telling it like it is.
by Anonymous14 years ago
So your calling yourself a spoiled white teenager?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Aren't all white people teenagers at one point? :P and who are you to judge who's spoiled or not when it comes to a huge group of people..?
by Anonymous14 years ago
There's been a surge of atheists lately and they're mostly teenagers. Dumbass
by Anonymous14 years ago
I dont think the spoiled part is true at all.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Well I'm white, not a teenager anymore, and I grew up in foster care, and lived most of my childhood years homeless before ending up in foster care. BUT OH YEA I'M SOOOO SPOILED!
by Anonymous14 years ago
I'm not an athiest, and I'm not spoiled, but I am offended. Douche bag.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Only spoiled people get offended, "bro." You're in denial.
Please consult the bible to help yourself find yourself within.
by Anonymous14 years ago
The ignorance in your comment is MIND BLOWING
by Anonymous14 years ago
That post was so full of fail it was hilarious
by Anonymous14 years ago
The surge of teen atheists is because society isn't as tight as it once was, and instead of accepting what bullshit their parents shove down their throats like good children, they prefer to take a moment to consider the chances of everything bad being created by a rib-woman and a talking snake, and the thought of an all-loving father figure slaughtering hundreds of thousands of innocent Egyptian children in order to punish one man.
by Anonymous14 years ago
There are religions besides Christianity and Judaism, you know.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Totally...
by Anonymous14 years ago
spoiled... meh. maybe... white? almost always.
by Anonymous14 years ago
The only atheist who I've discussed it with is an Asian middle aged woman with a heart disease.
by Anonymous14 years ago
This is true. They "don't need God" because they have every other fucking thing in the world. You still need God, even if you're rich.
by Anonymous14 years ago
... I'm doing just fine without God. Actually, I must say that I'm happier now. It's so hard to live with the feeling that you will NEVER be perfect in a god's eyes. Honestly, I think my failed attempts at Christianity led into my cutting/depression. Soooooo.... Yeah, here's an example of someone much happier without God. Good day. :)
by Anonymous14 years ago
Well, that's interesting. Because God doesn't expect you to be perfect. He loves you no matter what. I don't know what kind of "Christian" you tried to be, but I'm sure it wasn't the right kind. And guess what? Christians have emotional problems too. I've been a Christian my whole life, and I have cut myself. Many, many times. I started in seventh grade, then stopped, then relapsed after over two years, and I'm still trying to stop. I'm not the best person out there, but I do believe in God and I love him. Maybe I'm still struggling, but it gives me hope to know that I'm spending eternity with God, who loves me more than I could ever imagine. That is the true essence of being a Christian, and I'm sorry you can't see that, and that it didn't work out for you.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I'm sorry if my comment seems offensive! I really wasn't intending it to sound so. I am pretty accepting of others and their beliefs. I never said that Christains don't have emotional problems. I know that the idea of a God actually helps so many people to recover. Sometimes I really wish I could have that faith, but I can't make myself believe it. But here I am, a happier person because I stopped lying to myself and others. I'm glad you found refuge, no matter the form you found it in.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I wasn't offended at all. It's fine. I just wanted to make sure you weren't rejecting Christianity for the wrong reasons. However, you seem to have valid reasons. I hope I didn't offend you, either. I just wanted you to see that we're not that different, and that Christians are definitely NOT perfect in any way.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Oh no, I wasn't offended either. I'm glad we're on the same page now. It just irritates me when people say you cannot live without God, when I'm an example of someone who couldn't live WITH God.
by Anonymous14 years ago
By the way... I like your username. <3 Lol.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Why thank you. AVPM FTW!
by Anonymous14 years ago
Harry Potter forever. :D
by Anonymous14 years ago
Atheists don't exist. Lol. All you people are mistaken.
by Anonymous14 years ago
im agnostic, and i have observed that most white spoiled teenagers that i know are christian...
by Anonymous14 years ago
Im athiest. I'm white. My dad is in prison for murder. My mom is in rehab for substance abuse. My step-dad is raising me. My older brother was just convicted of being a child molester. We're going to lose our house if my dad doesnt find a new job soon. Im definately NOT spoiled. Im athiest becase I dont belive that if God loves everyone, he would let this kind of crap happen to my family, and to so many others who have it worse.
