Then they bring out their weapons. (i.e. slipper, belt, or just their hand)

Or the expensive champagne we were saving for New Years (My family teaches you that whatever happens, you can always drink away your problems with liquor you can't afford)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Whaa? What awesome family philosophy you have there.

We have more class than we can afford :P

So what did that phrase actually mean? The reply up there? ^^^

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It meant "This is very true"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh okay. I wrote this post right when I got off the phone with my mom who was getting mad. She started out speaking English then all of a sudden BAM, speaking really quickly in our native language.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What is your native language? (Mine's Maltese, from the lovely island nation of Malta in the Medditeranian)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Tagalog. I don't speak it but I understand it. When I do speak it though, I have an accent and I get made fun of.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That sort of reminds me of a friend of mine who's Cuban. When we were younger these older kids would make fun of her for "talking like a Communist" because of her accent. They don't do that anymore though, since they got in huge trouble for it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's sad that they said those things. When I get made fun of, it's only for fun and it's between friends so I don't take it too seriously.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, that good. :) And luckily, everything was resolved

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Imagine if you are european

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Andek ha2, I usually speak to my parents in my native tongue, but I'll only speak to my siblings in it if I'm arguing with them.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My dad doesn't even speak Cantonese fluently, but there's this one phrase that he says when he gets mad.

I know shit's going down when my parents say don't mind my french xD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The problem is in my house, my dad speaks Thai and English, my mom speaks English, my brother speaks English, Italian, German, and French, and I speak English and Spanish so we get pissed and start speaking another language and my mom tells us to start speaking English again.
