Swim suits are more than non-absorbent underwear. They were designed to look good as outerwear and resist chlorine, sand, etc. ^_^

The problem is that they're getting too slutty.

It depends on the swimsuit you buy for yourself. I look great in my swimsuit. When you are at the pool 99% of the people there know it is just part of the standard pool uniform ... unless you are the 300 lbs guy or girl wearing dental floss. My only worry is that they keep the pool clean. My brother got a very bad ear infection from a pool one year. Be sure to shower afterwards with a good anti-chlorine shampoo if you swim daily. The pool at my school is new this year, so I have been swimming regularly. It is great exercise. It builds smooth (not bulky) muscles.
