Too true I can barely understand those redskins, it's all "ah wah wah wah pocahontas"

I believe she meant actual Indians... you know, from India.

I dislike all overly thick accents, except Russian. Only the Filipino accent really bugs me.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I agree. There is no one accent that I dislike, except when they're really thick. There is this Filipino guy in my class and his accent is so strong it's extremely difficult to understand him.
by Anonymous12 years ago
o_o to some extent, I agree with you.

Russian. Worst accent (in English) ever. Hate it with a passion.
by Anonymous12 years ago
But it sounds badass. It like they just drop words like the and if you say shit they're going to fuck you up.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Just sounds stupid to me. Probably has something to do that I'm Russian and the only ones who have that accent are idiots who haven't learned English properly yet, it's more like the proof of how bad they are at English.
by Anonymous12 years ago
What if they came to an english-speaking country at an older age? It would be extremely hard for them not to have an accent, even if they are perfectly fluent.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Yeah it's still a disability and they can't physically do the pronunciations and disabilities aren't attractive.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I like how you're not being fake and saying people are beautiful by virtue of the fact that they're disabled. They can be beautiful or ugly just as any other person can.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Yeah I'm not saying disabilities are ugly or bad, it's just I don't find them attractive. A Russian accent to me is like having a limp. British accents are different, because that's the dialect as opposed to physically being used to pronouncing a different alphabet, it's not a disability it's how they //want// to speak. When foreigners talk they never want their accent to be noticed so hearing it isn't a good thing.

New Jersey accents bother me.

Accents like Sarah Palin's. Similar ones can be found in Alaska and some Midwestern places, so I'm not sure what to call it.

I've lived in Kansas my entire life but I've always been told that I have a natural English accent which makes no sense!
by Anonymous12 years ago
Really? That must be so cool but wierd :P
by Anonymous12 years ago
Any accent that uses the throat strongly...if that makes sense?
by Anonymous12 years ago
I can't stand southern accents!
by Anonymous12 years ago
I take it you mean Southern American, not Southern areas of the world, yes? Cuz if so I agree.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Any form of hillbilly/redneck/southerner accent bothers me..
by Anonymous12 years ago
Pittsburgh accents. They put H's in words that don't have one... For example, "dahn tahn"= down town. I live in the area and it makes me want to puke when people have the strong accent.
