Yukon: Is equal to Alaska,we don't know WTF happens. Same goes for NWT and Nunavut. British Columbia: Hot guys, cold weather, sexy snowboarders. Friendly people. Alberta: Hicks. Saskatchewan: Farmer/Hicks, A bunch of beer drinking football fans(It's okay, I'm from here.) Manitoba: Equal to Yukon, pretty lame. Ontario: Some cool people, mostly snotty bitches. Thinks Ontario is the entire country. Quebec: French Sluts. All of the Atlantic provinces: Fish. Equal to New England I guess. Just compare each province to the States they are above I guess...

Could somebody please tell me about Australia's territories?

New South Wales and Victoria are seen as "rivals", because they house the two biggest cities in Australia, and are both cultural and tourist hotspots, although Melbourne (capital of Vic) is seen as having an inferiority complex because Sydney (capital of NSW) is really the only Australian city that the rest of the world cares about. Sydney also has Mardi Gras, so it's the "poofter capital of Australia" according to Wolf Creek. Queensland, where I come from, is kinda seen as a bit "uncultured", and full of bogans (Australian white-trash). Also, we're one of the hottest places in the world, and have the highest skin cancer rates. Tasmania is the butt of all jokes, particularly incest ones. Western Australia, to people like me on the East, is just seen as a bit of an outback wasteland (Janelle might know more stereotypes).

Northern Territory is famous for having a lot of Aboriginal communities, particularly Aboriginal communities living in poverty, hence the alcohol bans. All I know about South Australia is they have a lot of stoners, but everything I've read indicates that the rest of Australia considers Queensland the stoner capital.

The NSW and Vic rivalry sounds like the California and Northeast in the US. Both have many large cities and their impact on the country is huge. Queensland sounds like the South of the United States. It's the hottest part of the US AND it has all the rednecks (American white trash).

I was going to bitch at you for that, but I went on Uncyclopedia and it says: "Queensland, often referred to as "The Only State" by some of its residents, is a 'Strayan state known for its ridiculous heat, cane toads, abundance of sporting legends, and being Australia's Texas and being the source of 99.9 per cent of stories featured on A Current Affair." http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Queensland This is utter fucking bullshit, I'm from Queensland and I'm the most cultured person ever.

If you want some more Aussie state stereotypes, this explains it pretty well: http://ozshots.com/map/

One thing to remember is that TONS of people move from other provinces and territories to come to Ontario.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

BC is generally viewed as the tree hugger province, and Sask. is generally viewed to have more hicks then AB.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I remember living in Quebec, I couldn't go anywhere because I would always laugh at the accent.
