+308 It sucks playing a contact sport and then having no battle wounds to prove it, amirite?

Getting hurt is a sign that you're sloppy and inefficient. Professionals don't get wounds.

unless you play hockey... haha.

really? Because I play rugby and it's kind of unavoidable

haha i can't tell if you're joking. If not then you've obviously never played or watched a contact sport... it's inevitable. Even the "professionals" get hurt.

I play soccer, and everyone talks about how they get all these bruises all the time, and I like never get them. so, when I found like my first bruise ever the other day, I was actually kinda happy.

I play football, as a freshman on varsity(most previously). My skill in football is rather high, and I always get bruises. I haven't gone a game without getting more than one. So I would have no clue what you're talking about.

I DON'T BRUISE EASILY, DON'T RUB IT IN :(

I don't bruise easily at all, yet I end up with many bruises, from being very(too) aggressive. It's not always good, cause I've almost tore my ACL, and both MCLs.

Haha my sister scored a goal with her stomach and got a soccerball patterned bruise on her stomach... It was wicked. I often get bruises but it sucks when you've genuinely done a bad injury coz then you can't play (I tore my cruciet ligament and had to get a knee reconstruction and couldn't play for a year...)

I play softball and I get all of my battle wounds in practice. One time the girl in front of me missed a ball and I was directly behind her so I didn't have time to snag the ball, and it hit me in the face. I didn't even get a small bruise from it. I was really disappointed! But you tap my legs with a softball and the bruises stay there for two months!
