+215 Being able to read and understand Shakespeare's works without help is like being able to read and understand an essay in a foriegn language: they both feel like an awesome accomplishment, amirite?

Considering Shakespearean is regarded as a seperate language, that's not a very good analogy.

Or at least, it felt like a huge accomplishment when I first starting getting Shakespeare. After a whole semester reading and discussing his tragedies, it just feels natural. Now reading an excerpt from a 1600s play in the original French? That I'm VERY proud of.
