It's not their money. Technically it belongs to the state. It's British taxpayers money. If I didn't love weddings so much, I would have been quite pissed.

yes true, but they still spent over 40 million dollars on it. that is a hell of alot more money than any of us could spend on a wedding.

I'd spend 5 mil for the wedding and 35 for a mansion and some nice beach house, and sports cars.

I'd get married in a rented room wearing a hand-me-down dress with a cake I bought from WalMart and then live comfortably the rest of my life on the wedding money.

I would give about half to various chairities, then I'd spend less than a million on the wedding, get a nice house on pretty lot, some cars, and just kind of live off of the rest.
