The window is 10 feet from the ground. Your ladder is 14 feet long. At what angle and distance must you put the base of the ladder from the house so the top reaches the window? Who cares? Just put the ladder up and move it. -_- stealing shouldn't be this difficult.

Haven't you ever heard all the jokes about mathematicians? About how they can't apply what they learn? Math is knowledge, the field you decide to go into will teach you application and there will be where you find "realistic" situations.
