You're only allowed to be anti-American online, because there's a high chance that the people online aren't American, and from my experience people that aren't American tend to diss America a lot. And I normally agree with them, but America is spoonfed patriotism at birth. It tends to stick with people. If I said, "America isn't that great," in real life people would snap their heads at me and look at me like I'm a leper. And I have said that before, and that's what happened.

Oh god it isn't though. I'm not gonna lie. I'm glad I live here. I have a better life than I would a lot of other places, but seriously in a world view America isn't that great. Too many people that live here think we're a lot better than we actually are.

That's what I'm saying. And people still think I'm a frickin' terrorist. It's ridiculous. We're not that great. We're good, we're doing better than most countries. But that doesn't mean we're great.

I'm annoyed with both the people that hate the country and people that think it's the best in the world at everything. It's a good country, just like many other first world countries.

I'm happy to live here, I mean sure it's not the best, but for the most part we are fairly open minded people. I mean in some countries people are getting killed for just expressing their religious or political views if they're against that of the country's leader. Of course people here are still judgmental but we've come a long way from where we used to be.
