+443 It's werid that "Romeo and Juliet" is a love story that takes place over two days, but takes over two weeks to read and understand. Amirite?

I thought it was 4 days

It's 5 days. The party is on a Saturday and Juliet is scheduled to marry Paris on Thursday but she ends up dying that day.

It's also weird to see weird spelled that way.

I don't see how this is weird. I mean you can watch a movie that covers 3 years in 2 hours. Also it didn't take me two weeks to read. . .

It was written to be performed in a couple of hours.

Yeah, I always thought that was a bit streange.

The party when they meet is Sunday night. The balcony scene is early Monday morning, and they get married later that day. Tybalt is killed on Monday. Romeo leaves for Mantua Tuesday morning. Juliet fakes her death Tuesday night, Wednesday is pretty much skipped except for Jules being found dead, and Thursday is when everything just falls to shit and they all die. Five days.

Also, Romeo and Juliet is not really a love story.

I think they're saying it takes two weeks to read it in English classes where you have over analytic teachers.
