Hi! I'm Montana!
I Don't get hammered for fun.
I don't wear stripper clothes!
I still have my V-Card.
I've got more morals than make-up.
I eat!
And I don't give a shit about what anyone thinks about me.
I guess I'm a rebel for not being a hoe.
See at first I was thinking: aw come on, most people my age aren't that bad. Then I realized I was only thinking about my friends. Then I thought about collectively all the teenage girls at my school. And now sadly I must agree with this post.
All the girls of my freshman class have been labeled as sluts by the upperclassmen. I didn't know this till about a week ago and I hate the way a group of girls can ruin the reputations of the rest of us.
I wear some makeup, I care about how I look.
I make sure my hair looks nice, keep it trimmed and dye it.
My clothes aren't branded but I try to look nice.
I like to eat healthyish but I adore pastas and burgers and chips.
I like to say that I don't care what people think of me, but I do.
I like to dress up and party but it doesn't make me a slut if I flirt with or kiss guys.
Is there no inbetween? It seems that people either portray themselves as a slut, or someone that is the total oppositte.
I agree with you. A lot of the time the people that claim to be the total opposite are just as fake and annoying. It's okay to care about how you look but there's a certain extent when it gets carried away. I try to judge people on their conversations more than how "slutty" they dress (although the Facebook thing makes it obvious which girls are what I'm referring to). Random conversations and being stupid with friends is one thing. The pointless drama and obnoxiousness is what gets to me.
Yes I agree, wearing makeup and nice clothes to a certain extent is good, but caking your face and wearing slutty clothes will bring you stereotypes.
Yea sometimes people like that are more annoying than people that can openely say there a bit of a skank. Everyone cares about how they look and what some others think of them.
Uhhg facebook is a breeding ground for classing people as sluts or hoes, but sometimes it is blatently obvious.
Exactly. And those girls that edit their pictures with picnic to the point of no return? Ack! Okay I don't personally like that website but if someone just used it to do touch ups or add some cute quote or something it's one thing... But they get WAY carried away. (from what I can tell most of the girls that do that are girls that make me facepalm so hard my head spins around. Although that doesn't necessarily mean all piknikers are bad. )
I know. I'm sure I don't have all that great of a reputation. And yeah but it's kind of human nature to judge. We all make assumptions. I guess I meant more that I try not to let first impressions overshadow people?
This. I completely agree with everything you said.
Makeup is not evil, wearing it doesn't automatically make you a fake hoe with no self-esteem and just because someone is that "shy girl who doesn't wear makeup/do her hair" doesn't mean they're better than someone who does.
People who don't care about their appearance annoy me more than people who dress up to much.
There's a line between not caring about your appearance ie no makeup, hair not done at all, bad clothes, and respecting yourself and presenting yourself in a nice manner.
I would personally feel gross if I went to school with no makeup, my hair all gross and frizzy. I do that when I'm at home or just running to the store.
My friends and I once bought cranberry juice. The lady at the checkout asked us if we were gonna spike it or some shit.
Surely I'm not the only one who thinks it's sad that thirteen-year-olds can't buy cranberry juice without being judged.
Cranberry juice is a diuretic, it helps with cramps/periods. That lady was an idiot for thinking spiking it is the only possible thing two 13 year old girls could use cranberry juice for
Shy, awkward, non-slut, makeup-less smart girl, whose hair won't stay straight. The one to come to when stuck in math. The one that hangs out slightly more social awkward than the socially awkward table, table. :P
Really, My hair is so thick, it takes forever to dry, straighten, curl even though it is shoulder length. It wouldn't stay straight. It is like a sponge with water. Hard to style it, I put it in a bun alot. Once I put put a headband in I have to keep it in, because my bangs back, they stay back bangs or not.
That's because most girl swim suits are stupid. How are you supposed to actually swim with just those teeny little stringy things holding your suit up? They are useless they should stop making them.
I've never had much luck with bikinis. They always seem to fall off or ride up or come untied or something. The good part about getting sunburn and freckles is that I never have to worry about getting weird tan lines.
I totally agree. When I'm swimming, I wear dudes bottoms, and a swim top with a shirt over that. That's all I can handle. AND I HATE WHEN GIRLS WEAR DARK MAKEUP TO THE BEACH.
Amen to that.
Sincerely a teenage girl that hates twilight's guts, wears make up like four times a year tops, doesn't post pictures of myself in the bathroom mirror pouting my lips and squeezing my boobs together all over facebook, never diets or complains about looking fat, doesn't freak out over seeing a spider, reads the Economist more than Glamor/Vogue, and has better things than wake up early to straighten my hair.
I'm more disgusted if anything.. my IQ points drop just by listening to some of the conversations during school. Honestly, the lack of intelligence is pathetic.
The United States will eventually be run by the downfall of this generation (aka teenage girls on facebook), since there are so many of them. monocle falls off
For me, it's just annoying because everyone is expecting me to be all "HI, you said hi to me, let me suck your dick and then play mind games with you" then I'm all "Hi, I'm an awkward little teenybopper. If you could just let me walk down the street without you screaming slut at me, that would be A+" It's even worse since my school has a reputation for being extremely slutty, bitchy, and preppy.
It sucks even more when your best friend, who I won't lie is a slut, gets confronted about showing her boobs and giving 3 different guys "fun time in the mouth"s at a party and saying 'Jess did it too' (me).
I haven't even had a boyfriend or my first kiss yet :/
I notice that too. A lot of the time the only girls that "like" Facebook posts complaining about the stereotypical teenage are stereotypical teenagers themselves.
your name is socks and flipflops, which if you chose it, it does confirm the reputations others have set up for your age group: immature and fashionably incorrect.

It's good to not be a gardening utensil.
When I was told that you were
"in" me I didn't think...
You're not your father! You can't do that! Imma tell yo' Daddy.
See at first I was thinking: aw come on, most people my age aren't that bad. Then I realized I was only thinking about my friends. Then I thought about collectively all the teenage girls at my school. And now sadly I must agree with this post.
You also get even more ashamed when you have a moment of weakness and do something that helps to prove the reputation right.
All the girls of my freshman class have been labeled as sluts by the upperclassmen. I didn't know this till about a week ago and I hate the way a group of girls can ruin the reputations of the rest of us.
You also wrote a sentence without ending it in 9 million exclamation points or these thingies ~ . Stereotype broken.
(Retooser):what, r-ur, taklng-abut? Gosh that was painful to type.
but I like using those thingies~
Apparently, if I appreciate good posts with bad grammar and don't like grammar nazis, I don't even understand things like you're-your.

Yeah I edit pics sometimes, eg black and white or sepia because I do think they look better.
Just don't get carried away with assumptions, because it's how it all starts.
That's why I was saying there were exceptions. I try very very hard not to generalize or judge people.
Yes it's hard not to judge though, I find myself doing it sometimes then think, "God I wonder what people must say about me."
I know. I'm sure I don't have all that great of a reputation. And yeah but it's kind of human nature to judge. We all make assumptions. I guess I meant more that I try not to let first impressions overshadow people?

Exactly, thank you! But the funny this is, we weren't going to spike it and we didn't have cramps.
We just really like cranberry juice. _^
I would have looked at her with that two round eyes with the little thing between them face that I don't know how to make
Shy, awkward, non-slut, makeup-less smart girl, whose hair won't stay straight. The one to come to when stuck in math. The one that hangs out slightly more social awkward than the socially awkward table, table. :P
(thedoctormerlin):How were you able to describe me so perfectly?
MY LIFE. Will you be my friend? _^
Same here. Except my hair problem is that it's incredibly flat. No volume or shape whatsoever.
I especially don't like how the girls don't get in the FUCKING POOL. I mean seriously, when I go to the pool, I FUCKING SWIM.
That's because most girl swim suits are stupid. How are you supposed to actually swim with just those teeny little stringy things holding your suit up? They are useless they should stop making them.
What's wrong with bikinis? I personally would rather wear a bikini than a full piece, getting odd tan lines and being uncomfortable.
Plus the one pieces stores sell are so jank. The torso is always too short so I have to get a bigger size but then it's practically falling off of me.
Yeah there impractical for just going to the beach or your friends pool. People just make assumptions way to fast about things like this.
YES thank you. My god. Those girls make me so frustrated.
Sure sounds like you think you're better than these individuals. News flash: nothing makes you better than anybody.
I'm more disgusted if anything.. my IQ points drop just by listening to some of the conversations during school. Honestly, the lack of intelligence is pathetic.
The United States will eventually be run by the downfall of this generation (aka teenage girls on facebook), since there are so many of them.
monocle falls off
Dear God...
Fuck this, I'm moving to Canada
It's just as bad here, trust me.
OMG!!!!!11 I luv twilight so much!! :DDD
here you forgot this "<3"
For me, it's just annoying because everyone is expecting me to be all "HI, you said hi to me, let me suck your dick and then play mind games with you" then I'm all "Hi, I'm an awkward little teenybopper. I find this funny. Why? Because the people who represent the stereotypical teenager are usually the ones who also complain about this. Fucking irony.
And, no, I am not implying that you are apart of the group. :-D
I notice that too. A lot of the time the only girls that "like" Facebook posts complaining about the stereotypical teenage are stereotypical teenagers themselves.
Woo same! XD
