+256 It's funny how calling a human "an animal" is an insult, but in reality humans act much worse than animals, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

For example, no rhinoceros would even dream of rolling thousands of fuzzy baby chickens off conveyor belts to be sorted and thrown down metallic slopes to their hell of a short life, to be killed later. Nor would any giraffe take thousands of cows and pigs and torture them by forced obesity just for others of his community to eat fucking hamburgers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVeDlkwB0q4 Just the meat industries are one of the displays of human behaviour that makes them worse than all other animals. There are plenty of other displays you simply don't see or think about daily.

(Nacklefoodle):So? I dont know many people who would eat their own baby...But still, humans are animals btw

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You're saying the baby thing as if so many wild animals do that, not only one or two. And I know that humans are animals, but when calling someone an animal, people mean the definition that means "all animals other than humans" or "wild animals".

The wolf, the polar bear, the sand goby, the wolf spider, the hyena, etc. ( Yes, I did googled : animals that eat their own babies...O_O)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Do those all come even at 10% of all animals?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, but humans are smart and just because a select few idiots do a lot of stupid things, that really doesn't reflect the whole group. Besides the more intelligent something is, the more complicated it's problem become.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I said nothing about idiots whatsoever. I'm talking about the mass genocides and torture and starvation and murders and giant farms in which OTHER animals are tortured (even though all they are is our companions on this planet). The more humans try to advance the more of selfish, greedy monsters they become.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh well I thought you were talking about people who do dumb things.... Like I said, the smarter something is, the more complicated it's problems. How do you know other animals wouldn't resort to our methods, if they had the brain power? I mean advancement is a slippery slope, once you start moving, it's going to be hard to stop, you wouldn't want to stop either and this comes at a great cost (some of the things you mentioned). Ya gotta break a few shells to make an omelet. Also, not everyone does the things you said, only a select few (okay maybe a lot of people, but still http://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/19100000/Spongebobs-face-when-he-finds-that-squidward-likes-krabby-patties-spongebob-squarepants-19133687-500-333.jpg)

Oh come on. Genocides are okay as long as we continue to make cooler iPhones? Did you seriously come find this post so you could argue with me even more. d

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes and I will continue to do so! And fucking right, the costs of genocide is balanced by the benefits of iPhone 4! Besides I'm homepaging your dumb posts, so you should be happy. Not so they get homepaged, but so people can see I'm smart :3

Have you got a personal problem with me or something? What is this? Doesn't look like you're trolling me, just amusing yourself, is that it?

Do you ask a magician his secret? No!

Humans are animals...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Clearly in this case I'm talking about the definition that states "wild animals or animals tamed by humans".

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, the only reason humans are crueler than other animals are because they are more intelligent than other animals. Animals can't be disloyal because they can't be loyal in the first place. They can't be cruel but they also cannot be caring. Calling someone an animal indicates you believe they are: 1.) Stupid 2.) Ugly 3.) Not as valuable as the average human 4.) Unhygienic

by Anonymous 12 years ago

5) when someone is really cruel. Like if someone's mean or violent, one might call him a beast or just simply an animal for his behaviour. What I mean is any time you use the word "animal" to call a human it's a bad connotation and is used for bad/wrong doings. But humans have together murdered more of their own kind and other kinds and other species than any other species combined. And sure, it could be because they are also more caring or sympathetic, but that doesn't mean they're better than animals. Animals are less cruel than humans, that's my point here. Even though animals aren't "smart enough" by your opinion to even act cruel, they're still overall less cruel than people, so calling someone an animal is ironic in this case.

Have you read The Brothers Karamazov? One of my favourite parts in the book, when Dmitri was saying how humans are so 'artsy' and creative when it gets to cruelty towards one another while beasts would rip you open, but it is for feeding purposes, they'd eat you up but never skin you or nail you.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Animals can definitely be loyal and caring.
