by Anonymous 12 years ago

No. No it wasn't. "YOU were part of the navy SEAl squad who completed the mission" Maybe I was...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

well when people lump all americans into the same group for negative things, we feel the EXACT same way

by Anonymous 12 years ago

i never mentioned whether it was for positive or negative things, so i agree with you, it goes both ways

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ha or how Americans built cars, computer, nd all that hardcore army shit(;

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Us English created the language you speak!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

well you along with the french and other various languages. American English is kind of a mooch that way

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm American I didn't put (we). cause I know damn well I didnt create all those things(wasn't born yet) so there's no point to put we Americans created blah blah cause it was a group o Americans not just one person.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I just don't get it when people are always dissing Americans, yet they listen to our music, watch our movies, buy stuff like Coca-Cola, iphones, blah blah blah...very ungrateful!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know. Ha I love being american

by Anonymous 12 years ago

But we're not bashing the country nor its few geniuses. We're also not bashing the many good products that come from the country. We're bashing the common idiot that populates the majority of the place. A team of 9 stupid monkeys and 1 genius would succeed far more than a group of 10 kind-of-smart monkeys.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

but you're still endorsing the stereotype of a stupid american? Cool, it's fine, no thats completely okay. Not racist at all. /sarcasm

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, I'm assuming you're American, and you just called Americans a race. I rest my case.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

okay, fine, you're not being racist. Being judgmental. Being a bigot. Being a douche bag. Stop doing it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Here is the link you wanted, but I didn't feel like copying and pasting. The "common idiot" remark is what I'm referring to.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

lolwut

by Anonymous 12 years ago

...what? You said you wanted a link giving an example where you bash on Americans.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oic, this is from that old argument that ended 6 years ago. You said, and I quote, "Every time I go to the comments in a post about the States, I see you have commented on it, hating on America. Especially on my post about America, when you said Americans were stupid, and below other countries. Can I just say that you should stop, and gtfo of America if you think so low of it." 1. This and that post are the two sole times I've commented in a negative way about America. 2. Having an awful school system and therefore stupid people is fact, not opinion. 3. I said absolutely not one word about America being below other countries in my entire life on the internet OR in outside life. 4. I'm not exactly ON America... so that would pose a problem as to how I would go about "getting off" of it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

1. Here are some more: http://www.amirite.net/615500/1338917 http://www.amirite.net/611330/1320041 http://www.amirite.net/611330/1320060 http://www.amirite.net/607690/1309808 http://www.amirite.net/256475/1308751 Enjoy. 2. America might not have the best school system, but that does not mean Americans are stupid. Stupid is the lack of common sense, or intelligence, not how much you know. 3. No, you might not have said it outright, but you implied it. Through the examples above. 4. When I said you were ON America, I was referring to, once again, the comments above.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol did you seriously go through my comments to find those? Example 1: LOL how is that against Americans? Just including the word "America" in any negative comment does not make me against the country! Wtf. Obesity is a well-known American problem. Do you not agree? Post 2: WHAT? This isn't in the slightest stereotyping nor putting down America or its people! It's an opinion on a worldwide language, English. I didn't say "stupid Americans made stupid variants of English words, what IDIOTS i hate them all and their fat children". You need to try to read comments with an open mind. Just because they're mine does not mean they mean to hurt Americans or really say anything about America. Post 3. You've got to be kidding me. It's sarcasm towards the OP who worded it wrong. It's SARCASM. They used two insulting words and added "American" as a third, which is what I'm joking about. You've seriously got something against me. I'm running out of room but I've more to say.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

LOL yeah I did, you asked for links so i got you some. Let me explain why I chose these comments. Example 1. The word 'and' in that comment is capitalized, hinting that being American was the worst part of those three things. Example 2. What I got for that one is you were saying only American kids are obese. Yes, I know America is an overweight country, but I got the feel that you were saying ONLY America has overweight children. You get me? Example 3. Excuse me for not clarifying, by this example I meant the whole comment thread, which you were negatively speaking of America. It's totally my bad you didn't understand why I chose that comment. Example 4. America can't have it's own variant of English now? Excuse us for having our own culture. Do you think of Australia the same way?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

ono Obese =/= overweight. 1.That's what I'm saying, they used "American" nonchalantly in that insult, as a replacement for "person" (as in "fat stupid people"), but in reality, since people of all countries go on this site they actually used their own nationality as an insult added to the first two. Everyone skipped the "Americans" because most people on here are actually American and the OP was therefore just specifying WHICH type of Americans were they, yet not one noticed how American is actually used as one of those 3 insults. It's hard to notice, so I see why you don't understand. For example if they'd said "Soccer is for dumb, smelly, Mexicans" you'd see the "Mexicans" being an insult, yeah? That's how it is here. 2. Lol. Child OBESITY in American only. That's not even an insult, that's statistics. 3. Again, statistics. Well, not only THAT but the proof of those same statistics in my personal history. And come on it's not negative! It's just a fact!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

3. cont. American parents DO care a lot more about their children! I've noticed it everywhere. And not only parents, but even strangers and peers! How is that ever an insult? You should be happy America's such a safe place. I'm just saying it's seriously the most safe out of all great countries/continents. 4. No I don't, about Australia, no, because I haven't got experience of it or even any knowledge really. But having have lived in America for a few years I know exactly what the dialect is. And what I'm arguing is that unlike other dialects, which split counties 1:1 or in thirds, THIS language is split 1:99999, the latter being all of Europe and Asia and 1 being the sole country of America. it's just a coincidence that this "hated" country of mine is what country is developing this, but if it were any other major country I'd say the same, really.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Example 5. "LOL. All Americans eat is hamburgers and thick greasy pizza all with 90%-sugar drinks and 99%-sugar candy. I KNOW from experience." Here's the America-is-obese thing again. While I don't deny it, your comment is not true, and it is stereotyping all Americans, which is why I deemed it offensive.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

5. You don't take that as serious, do you? I sure hope not. I even admitted I exaggerated there. But look, the post was on American food and I said what exactly that was. You have to admit that's what most Americans eat normally. "We have great food? We have variety, we eat chinese and mexican and french and italian and japanese. American is just junk food and burgers." This comment didn't specify on the junk food and burgers, and therefore everyone agreed with him! I said about the exact same thing, and you found it offensive, along with 10 other people. Seriously, you only hate me because I describe the faults in your country. All the while my country's 50 times worse, but you probably don't even know about it enough to counter all these examples and insult ME (considering you're American).

by Anonymous 12 years ago

...there you go again, stereotyping all Americans. But it's whatev. DUDE. I don't hate you. How does one even hate someone they've only talked to over the internet? And you know what? You're right. I obviously can't convince you that you are biased against America, and I'll admit i took some of your comments the wrong way. But you can see where I would get the offensive part, amirite? (in response to your other comment) You know what's funny? I don't even love my country that much. I just don't like people hating on it, cause, you know, I live here. I don't even think I want to live here for the rest of my life. And yeah, I never denied I was shallow. I'll say it. I'm shallow! What country are you even from, anyway? While I was creeping through your comments you never said, Or I never saw.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm from Russia. Name all faults of modern Russia that you know of. Go.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm not stereotyping. I already told you my opinion on America having the worst education system, and now I'm only proving it. You know close to nothing about Russia while I know all of these things about America. Point proven.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, you're right about me not knowing close to anything about modern Russia, and you're right about America's education system not being the best. But honestly, that was a really bad example.1. I've taken two History classes my entire life, and they were far from modern stuff. I haven't been able to take a class concerning things wrong with modern society in other countries. 2. You have been to both countries so of course you're going to know the problems of modern society. 3. America is a higher power, so of course other countries are going to have to learn about it. We have a humongous influence on the rest of the world. But to expect us to know about every other country, and I mean every other country, is ridiculous. I can say quite honestly that every person I've talked to from different countries knows a lot about America, and somehow expects me to retain all this information about their small ass country. when it has little impact on the world.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not saying Russia has little impact on the world, because it does, I know that. But that's not my point. I'm saying EVERYONE expects us to know all about them. Also, America has some of the best schools in the world. People come from all over the world to attend our Ivy Leagues. And there are some damn good private schools for the younger years. It's true, our public schools are not the best, but consider the thought that our economy is in the shitter. So, by giving the example that I, one American, do not know about all the problems in Russia, is not proving your point.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes, but see, you know nothing of ANY other country but America. And I didn't say it's your fault; it's your school's. In Russia they teach about every other country. They don't teach one year of other countries, then one year of Russia, like they do in US which makes me ono. And the sad thing is, America isn't even trying to help its schools. I mean it sort of is, with all those super-expensive technologies which are ABSOLUTELY unnecessary. I mean, in my Russian school all we had was chalkboards, textbooks and notepads. That is all, and yet in one year we learnt more than children in America learnt in 3. Isn't that sad? And all the while those same American kids had those fancy "smartboards" which connect to a (which we didn't have either) along with school websites, along with teacher e-mails, along with computer labs and printers, along with fill-in-the-blank printouts. We had none of those. Absolutely none. And THEREFORE we learnt more.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And I agree with you on the fact that America's pretty significant, so I have an advantage there on the knowing each others countries. But hey, you know what? I moved to America before we even started to learn countries. So how can I know all this? About either country? Anyway, I'm sorry for offending you with all those facts. They make me upset myself, you know. The country has so much potential yet so many of these simple problems. Good argument. See ya.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So, overall, you've found each and every comment I made which includes the word "America" and are now trying to make them sound harsh and insulting towards your country, which isn't at all the case. There are certain facts which people worldwide have grown to accept, such as obesity being a problem in America, the schools being below the norm, and that English has an American dialect. These are not insults towards you and your country, not at all. I was merely stating all those facts and my opinion on them. Yes, this post and the other argument 6 years ago WERE a bit insulting, but these other examples are completely irrelevant to that. I apologise for hurting your feeling. Those examples you gave were way off.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Let's get something straight here, I really have nothing against you, I don't even know you. Here's how things worked out. *Cheyenne sees Nacklefoodle constantly hating on America. Cheyenne points this out to Nacklefoodle. Cheyenne spends her precious time looking for each damn comment that was offensive to America because Nacklefoodle asks for links.* Nothing wrong with that. I don't have anything against you. Jesus.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You must really love your country, since you went through all this. It's no wonder they call Americans the most patriotic.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And lol, "Here's a list of things I don't like, so if I bitch at you and you're not sure why, read the following: Stupid people, ugly people, fat people,..." -- your profile. And you're calling me insulting?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

LOLOLOL, yeah I am. There's a difference between you and me, because I don't like specific people of any nationality, race, religion, etc., while you specifically targeted America and it's problems. Wow, I said specific a lot. Specific. ANYways. This whole thing turned way out of hand.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You hate fat and ugly people. How much more shallow could you get?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

EVERYONE CALM DOWN. We hate on people, we fight with people, and i hate to say it, but it's all racism. If a white guy bashes a black guy it's shunned upon by all, but one joke about the 'fat and stupid' Americans and EVERYONE is laughing. Stereotypes are all bull-shit, So we need to STOP acting like they actually mean anything. If we star believing everything the media/internet tells us then there are going to be A LOT of crooked teethed British guy telling coked-up Colombians that they are as cheep as a Scotsman.

They invented the World Wide Web. American invented the internet. I don't understand the difference but that's what Wikipedia said.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You just made Americans look a whole lot worse. I'm so ashamed to live in America right now after reading this.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How is that?

I know you have freedom of speech, but don't abuse it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say... How is this post so bad you're ashamed to live in America?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No. The Swiss created the internet.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

http://www.history.com/topics/invention-of-the-internet No. The Swiss invented the World Wide Web. Americans invented the internet.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How has this not come up yet? Most of the stuff you guys are saying you made was made by Europeans... Not saying you're all stupid, just that using an example like that isn't really helping your case. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Berners-Lee)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Why does it seem like everybody thinks that all people from the same country act exactly the same? Every country most likely has an equal amount of smart, stupid, and fat people

by Anonymous 12 years ago

A lot of people on this post are simply trying to convince each other whether or not the stereotypes about Americans are true. That doesn't matter. Frankly, it doesn't matter if America is a country made entirely up of stupid people. You're still a bad person if you meet an American, and say "I cannot expect much from you and must speak to you like a 5 year old, because you are American." That's unacceptable, no matter how true. Stupid people can learn, and not all Americans are stupid. So don't judge people based on what country they were born in, or what culture raised them. You can only judge someone based on personal experiences you have with this person. Nothing else.
