+128 Serving sizes should be measured in hand fulls. That way smaller people get smaller ones and bigger people get bigger ones, amirite?

But the point of a serving size is so that anyone can measure that amount out and see the nutritional value for that specific size. It's not like they can put multiple columns of nutritional values for each hand size?

This. How is anyone supposed to know how many grams of sugar or something if everyone's serve is different. Also, I have small hands :(

I am very tall, with large hands, but very docile and inactive. I'm sure a smaller specimen who has an active lifestyle would need far more food than I do.

So fat people get big servings? ono

Lolwut? Being fat doesn't make your hand size grow.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

yes it does...lol.

Lolno, hand size is completely proportional to the skeleton of the hand. Making each bone fatter with fat doesn't change how much you can grip in it.

But you can hold your hand palm out, without making it a fist and just have them dump food onto that...in which case the serving size gets exponentially larger since fatties get several extra inches of portions based on the whole "dont make your hand into a fist" thing.

"Measured in hand-fulls".

it can be measured in hand fulls...just stick your hand out! That's a hand, and when it's full...it's a hand-full. GET IT????
