+480 Our parent's parents didn't like when they listened to Elvis Presley because he shook his hips too much and was inappropriate. Our parents don't like the music we listen to because there are too many swears and sex talk. If music history keeps this up, what kind of crap are our kids gonna be listening to... amirite?

Ke$ha's a close second

Well, Elvis wouldn't have done that dance if it wasn't for Forrest Gump, so I don't see why people complain.

There will probably be devices that insert the sound/video directly into your brain (like, a thought and trying to picture something) then the parents (us) will panic because they can't hear or see what the kid is listening to.

Oh my gosh, I think about this all the time.

My grandpa was in his seventies and listened to Elvis when it first came out. Our parents generation listened to the Beatles, which was thought of as kinda weird. Or Black Sabbath or Kiss, because it was "devil" music. Now our music is about sex. Pop culture is generally on a pendulum, a lot of music is already swinging back, even rap is doing so. I consider the sex-in-the club music better than I-kill-mofos-and-rape-bitches-music from the 90's.

what would they think of the scum music of today. Elvis would be an angel in comparison.
