We could save a lot of trees if receipts were shortened. The long version would be good for people buying things like expensive electronics, but if I'm just getting some milk I don't need a paragraph on the store's return policy and the name of the cashier who sold it to me, amirite?

That's why the Co-Op ask you if you need your receipt before they print it. More places should do this.
