+316 People always make jokes about World War I and II, and other wars, yet when someone makes a joke about 9/11, they get so much hate from people saying "STFU you heartless bastard! People died!" Now that's a double standard, amirite?

World War I and II happened in a more distant past than 9/11.

The holocaust was still terrible. People seem to forget about things like concentration camps.

Right, but fact is it happened a significant time ago, not many people today have had their lives torn apart because of the Holocaust, you know?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well that does make more sense. At the same time, I still have an inkling of hope that this one won't be stuck in the just ins forever.

You can't spell "slaughter" without "laughter"

Living in Europe means you ALWAYS know someone who has had their lives torn apart because of the holocaust

Why did the chicken cross the road? Because the Kaiser killed someone.

I hate 9/11 jokes. Planely, I think they're just wrong...

i think because the aftermath of 9/11 (the war in iraq/afghanistan) is still going on and it's still affecting people. we've moved past WWII by now. im not saying it wasnt bad, because it killed 2,000 times more people than 9/11, which is an extreme amount. but it's just because the affects of 9/11 are still being seen

Everything becomes funny after 22 years, according to a show that I can't remember. Just wait a while.
