+363 It's funny when people say that in a few years there won't be anymore cash money around because everybody will be using debit or credit; they're forgetting about all the drug dealers, I don't think they accept Visa or Mastercard, amirite?

I hope the money sticks around. As a kid it was such a rush to hold a jar full of money I'd saved. I don't think the future's children would get as much happiness out of looking at a bank statement.

I read on somewhere like CNN that some major pimps and prostitutes are taking credit and debit cards. So drug dealers would be next.

I read somewhere that physically holding money allows you to tolerate more pain

And in news today, The President has declared that physical paper money and coins will not be stripped of their value today and the US treasury will continue to produce physical currency in consideration of the business model of illegal drug dealers. Yeah, somehow, I just don't see that happening.
