Parents fighting unreasonably can destroy a child. Watching your parents fight teaches you how to fight. Children that never witness their parents fighting grow up and have no idea how to handle disagreements with their partners. Not knowing how to handle a fight almost always results in the fights getting worse or one partner getting bulldozed.
