I it when it gives dialogue. That is the only time I would hate the back cover of a book.

Or you could just check the jacket. If there's still nothing there, then it's really a pain.

I really don't like it when they give a synopsis on the book. I feel like they try too hard to get someone to read it, so it either gives too much away (not the ending but maybe a twist) or it sounds gooby. If I am unsure I'll just look it up online.

They don't have to tell you the whole thing, just what the basic plot is.
