+587 If you could instantly become perfectly fluent in another language, you know what language you'd pick, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

German.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I have made a list. French is #1 though.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Albanian, since that's what my family is.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

French or Italian .. but French is probably number 1

by Anonymous 12 years ago

French or Spanish.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I would probably chose a language like chinese because I feel like it would be easier to learn a romance or germanic language if I really wanted to than a language that uses a bunch of different characters like chinese.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

*choose *Chinese *romantic *Chinese (again). Why don't you start with English?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

(G. Nazi): 'Romance language' is actually the correct term. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romance_languages

by Anonymous 12 years ago

french since i'm kinda halfway there

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If you're halfway there, why not choose a language that you don't know at all?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

because the last half is the hardest lol plus i could get any job in want in canada if i'm bilingual w/ french and english

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The last half is easier than the whole, though.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

i suppose but that's the language that would be most useful to me and i really don't know how to continue with it to become fully bilingual so.... but maybe dutch or something if not french

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Probably Japanese for the same reason as another person above me said. Plus, Japanese sounds really cool.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Chinese!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Arabic.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Latin. It would be a good stepping stone to the Latin-based languages.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Definitely what I would pick.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Same here, for sure.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Mandarin, Japanese, or Latin.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Russian

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ever since Call of Duty 4 I have wanted to learn Russian just to learn how to say that one badass line in the intro video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7VVwRsFzCk The line at :47 makes me orgasm every time.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

German. Hands down. You /always/ sound angry. Plus, it sounds like fun to speak.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It sounds so gross, like you're hocking a loogie. Ichhhh Liebe Dichhhh. Romantic.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Psh. Romance can kiss my ass. I know some Spanish. That's good enough. I just want to say something like, "You look so pretty!" and have it sound like I'm trying to murder someone.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

German!...it sounds cool

by Anonymous 12 years ago

French, then Russian, then German. =)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

German (:

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ukrainian

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Engrish.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Parseltongue

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Swedish

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There are so many to choose from. DX Probably Japanese, though, because I would love to be able to speak it, but it would be the hardest to learn on my own.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Probably Japanese, but I definitely want to learn French, too. I want to live there when I get older :D

by Anonymous 12 years ago

klingon... I mean chinese

by Anonymous 12 years ago

French, because then i could communicate with like the rest of my extended family. that or parseltongue, either/or.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Xhosa, it has clicking sounds.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Korean!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

German. I really wish I knew German.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, because I couldn't choose between my favourites.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Italian, Latin, or Japanese. Italian, because its an awesome language, Latin for the reason said above me, and Japanese because it would be hardest to learn on my own.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Latin. It was used a long time ago and i thought it would be cool to learn.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'd go with Korean. They have awesome pop music artists!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Since I already speak French, English and Spanish, I would probably want to speak Italian! such a beautiful language ! parlo un poco italiano though..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Romanian :)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It seems German is the most popular here. Or Latin. Or maybe I'm only paying attention to the ones I like :P

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Canadian. (;

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Italian. I already know English Russian and Spanish so Italian would be my next choice :)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

...Body language. hello

by Anonymous 12 years ago

arabic definitely

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Why has nobody chosen Polish yet? :(

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'd have to go with Japanese. :)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I have 3. French because French is awesome. Xhosa because a lot of people speak it here. Latin because then I'd finally understand all the exorcisms and things in Supernatural.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Either German, Polish, or Latin.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Gaelic or Polish. Gaelic because my family is Irish-Scots and I think it'd be real cool :) and Polish because I know I'm going back there someday. Beautiful country.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Je choisirais parler francais. Oh look! It came true.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Definitely Arabic.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Italian because I want to be able to speak the language from everywhere I'm a citizen in (: I have Portuguese down so that covers Portugal and Brazil, I have English down so that covers the US, now I just need Italia!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Canadian :)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Russian hands down.
