-137 Why don't they just make a boat with some holes in the bottom of it. That way, if water gets into the boat than it would just wash out the holes, preventing the boat from sinking. amirite?

They have that, the holes are just on the side of the boat so the water actually goes out of the boat instead of gushing in and sinking it

if there is a hole in the bottom of a boat, it will not sink. if there is a hole in the side, it will.
